Visitors to the Floors Castle Horse Trials will not only be treated to an array of equestrian spectacles, with dressage, showjumping and cross country all running simultaneously throughout the day, but they can also enjoy a walk around the cross country course, which spans from the Golden Gates in Kelso down to the Tweed and along to the parkland just south of the Adventure Playground, Plant Centre and Walled Garden.
There are a number of tradestands to browse and catering at dedicated stalls on hand as well as the excellent cafes at Floors Castle. Young eventing fans might also enjoy a careful walk round the lorry park with their autograph book, as top riders such as Wills Oakden, Olivia Haddow, Emily Galbraith, Nicola Wilson and Ruth Edge are regular competitors at the event.
Admission is £5 per person with under 16's going free.
Floors Castle Horse Trials are delighted to be welcoming Sealpin Gundogs on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May. These fabulous dogs demo at the Highland Show as well as Scone Game Fair so it is a huge coup to have them at Floors. As well as show spectators what their dogs are capable of, Sealpin Gundogs will be taking a stand so visitors can meet the trainer and learn more.
We will be welcoming back the fantastic dog agility team and pet show that proved so popular last year.
