Christmas House Party

Three Nights

Our Christmas House Parties are well established and certainly well known, blending a mix of relaxation, entertainment, delicious food and fine wines.

Christmas with us is a home from home experience in luxurious surroundings.

CHRISTMAS EVE

Arrive in plenty of time to enjoy afternoon tea served in the Drawing Room with a warm welcome from your hosts.

Get into the festive spirit by enjoying mulled wine and canapes while listening to Christmas carols sung by our local choir, the Roxburgh Singers.

A gourmet dinner accompanied by fine wines will follow.

After dinner, transport will be provided to take you along to the watchnight service at the Old Parish Church in Kelso.

CHRISTMAS DAY

Rise to a full Scottish breakfast - the sustenance will come in useful with all that unwrapping!

The morning is left up to you to enjoy the festivities, before pre-lunch Champagne is served in the Drawing Room.

A relaxed traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings will then follow in one of our Dining Rooms. After lunch look out for Father Christmas before relaxing in front of the fire.

In the evening, a buffet supper will be served from the Middle Lounge before enjoying a very informal game of bingo whilst listening to Graham Halliday on the piano.

BOXING DAY

Is usually a day to relax, so a late breakfast is a must!

Enjoy a light continental breakfast in your room before participating in a falconry display on the back lawn, or a leisurely stroll around the grounds.

Enjoy our spectactular Boxing Day jazz lunch, with James Birket Jazz Band, before trying your hand at clay pigeon shooting with Alistair, or a hand drawn portrait with our wandering caricaturist.

The remainder of the afternoon can be spent in front of the fire, feasting on mince pies!

Dinner and fine wines will then be served, before enjoying folk music with Schiehallion in the Drawing Room - to round off your Christmas House Party

experience.

SATURDAY 27TH DECEMBER

To set you up for your journey home, full Scottish breakfast will be served before departure.

Please note that all our activities are subject to change due to circumstances outwith our control.

The above rates are inclusive of accommodation, early morning tea, full Scottish breakfast, lunch, dinner, all activities, entertainment and VAT as detailed above.

Children under 12, prices on application.

Additional nights are available, from £104 per person (sharing), per night to include accommodation, early morning tea, full Scottish breakfast, table d'hote dinner and VAT.
