The Master of ceremonies will help usher guests to their places, whilst your wedding co-ordinator brings you to the top of the double staircase for photographs and a Grand entrance.|
|Perfectly timed music of your choice will accompany you down the red carpet and to the Altar where your Groom awaits you. Exchange your vows in the presence of family and friends in our beautifully designed Conservatory. Lead the way as a married couple to a Champagne and Canapé reception in luxurious surroundings with open log fires and stunning grounds, exclusively yours.|
|Following photographs your Master of Ceremonies will make a grand announcement for your guests to take their places in the Conservatory for the Wedding Breakfast, your first gourmet meal as Husband and Wife, prepared by our award winning Kitchen Brigade, paired with specially selected wedding wines from the Duke’s own cellar.|
|Gather everyone together for Speeches and a glass of bubbly before dancing the night away to your chosen Band or DJ. Opt for an evening buffet and refreshments which can be served from the Inner Hall for evening guests.|
|13.30pm – The piper plays as your guests arrive to the Hotel, before being shown through by the Master of Ceremonies|
|14.00pm – The Bride is given away down the red carpet and the ceremony commences|
|14.30pm – Now Man & Wife, the couple lead the congregation in a glass of Champagne as the reception begins. Enjoy canapés, relaxed photography and smiling faces in the various public rooms or grounds of the Hotel|
|16.30pm – Guest are warmly invited to seat for dinner, and the 3 course meal will be served to fine dining standards. Don’t forget to factor in the speeches before dinner for those nervous Dad’s, Grooms and Best Men!|
|19.30pm – A formal line up or relaxed welcome for the evening guest joining you for the celebration|
|21.30 – An evening buffet of Bacon rolls, Stovies or finger foods to sustain your guests through the Ceilidh!|
Tenancy: The tenancy will be a Short Assured Tenancy under the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988. The Lease may be renewed at the end of the prescribed term of let but applicants should be aware that possession of the property can be recovered by the proprietor at the expiry of the Lease if required.
Entry and Duration: Entry shall be at such date as may be agreed. The duration of the Lease shall be for an initial period of not less than six months.
Rent: The rent shall be payable monthly in advance by Standing Order on the 1st of each month with a proportionate amount payable on entry.
Repairs: The proprietor shall maintain the premises wind and water tight and keep in repair the structure and exterior of the house (including drains, gutters and external pipes), the installations in the house for the supply of water and electricity and for sanitation (including basins, sinks, baths and sanitary conveniences) and installations for space heating and water heating with the exception of any repairs occasioned by any act, omission or negligence of the tenant. Internal decoration shall be the tenant’s responsibility.
Painting: The proprietor shall carry out external painting.
Deposit: A deposit of two months rent will be payable on entry. This will be repaid to the tenant on termination of the lease, provided all obligations of the lease are fulfilled and the property left in a satisfactory condition.
References: The Estate will require the applicant, in the event of them finding a property that they wish to rent, to complete a Credit Check before granting them a tenancy.
Other Conditions: All the other customary Roxburghe Estates conditions of let shall apply and a copy of the pro forma Lease can be inspected at the Estate Office by bona fide intending applicants.
