The Stud

The current Duke's father started the Stud in 1948. In more recent years the current Duke has enjoyed success in breeding the dual classic winning filly Attraction and more recently the Hong Kong Derby winner Viva Pataca.

The Stud consists of 132 acres and currently has 15 resident thoroughbred flat race brood mares. The colts and a few fillies tend to be sold. Some of the fillies are kept to run under the Duke's colours. 

" I joined Floors Stud in January 2008 having spent 3 years as Yearling Manager at Highclere Stud in Newbury.  I am looking forward to this new challenge and to the continuing success of the Stud".
