Salmon Fishing

Upper and Lower Floors are two of the prime beats on the River Tweed and offer some of the best fishing in Scotland.

Each beat takes a maximum of four rods and our experienced ghillies are on hand when required. The season is from February until November.

The peak times are April / May and October / November. The Sunlaws and Upper Roxburgh Beats on The River Teviot are also available for let. For more information, visit :

Trout Fishing

Located close to The Roxburghe Hotel, our trout fishery is stocked with rainbow trout ranging from 1 lb to 5 lb. All fishing is from the bank with a catch and release policy.

One of our expert ghillies can be provided to give instruction by prior arrangement.
There is a maximum of four rods at any one time.
