Floors Castle is not only home for the Duke and his family, but is also the hub of a modern agricultural and sporting estate covering over 50,000 acres of the Scottish Borders.
Comprising 45 tenanted farms, extensive hill farming, two grouse moors, salmon fishing and 3,500 acres of woodland the Roxburghe Estate is a vital contributor to the local economy. The entire estate employs a total of 185 staff at peak times of the year.
With such a wide range of natural facilities the Roxburghe Estate is able to offer a range of activities and country pursuits in a superb Scottish Borders location. From grouse and pheasant shooting to fishing on the world renowned River Tweed.
