Week Beginning 1st February

From Upper Floors
1st Feb 2014, start of a new fishing year and the first Tweed salmon of the season caught at Floors (again)

Saturday - river height 2'6" and the water a "ginger" colour - not in any way an ideal start to the new season. There's a gusty strong wind plus rain. Just four kelts caught until 4:30pm when we got a 9lb springer in the Weetles!  Caught by Kent Hkansson from Sweden  on a type 3 sinking line and a two inch black and yellow tube fly. The only Tweed beat to report a salmon and the first fish of the season caught again at Floors!
