Perfectly positioned between the Castle and the car park, the Courtyard Café is open seasonally during the year from Easter to end of October.
The Courtyard Cafe is now closed for the winter season and will re-open at Easter 2017 other than on the following days: 14th, 15th, 19th & 22nd September)
Our Terrace Cafe remains open all year round and serves delicious tray-bakes, home cooked Castle kitchen food with our new Autumn menu now available. Open 10am - 4pm daily. (The Terrace Cafe is a short walk away from the Castle)
The Duchess of Roxburghe has personally re-designed and refurbished the Courtyard Cafe, creating the perfect place to relax with family or larger groups to be accommodated with its open design. Formerly a stable block for the Duke of Roxburghe’s polo ponies, the walls are covered in pictures of the equine residents from years gone by.
Outdoor seating is available together with benches with views over the River Tweed to soak up the splendid scenery.
