Successes

Successes
One of the most successful horses Floors Stud has bred was Attraction. Her record of ten wins from fifteen starts, including five Group I’s, place her up with the very best horses in recent years, and she is certainly the finest racehorse ever bred in Scotland. Her wins include the 1,000 Guineas, the Irish 1,000 Guineas and the Coronation Stakes. She was Champion Two-Year Old Filly in Europe and Champion Three-Year Old Filly in Ireland. Read her full story here.

Attraction's success has continued as a broodmare. Her first four foals to race are all winners including Cushion and Fountain of Youth, both showing above average ability and are exciting prospects for 2014. Her 2013 yearling by Montjeu realised 450,000 guineas, the highest priced yearling from Floors Stud. Mention must also be given to the bay gelding Viva Pataca and his half sister Laughing. Bred by the Dukes of Roxburghe and Devonshire from the stud mare Comic, Viva Pataca was sold abroad in 2005. His success in Hong Kong has been phenomenal. Having nine major wins including the Hong Kong Derby, the Queen Elizabeth Cup and the Hong Kong Gold Cup. He retired with winnings of £6 million the highest ever prize money earner in Hong Kong. Laughing is unbeaten in 2013 in the USA and is the winner of two Grade 1 races; the Diana Stakes and the Flower Bowl.
