The Duke of Roxburghe
Born 1954, Sir Guy David Innes Ker, the 10th Duke of Roxburghe, is married to the Duchess, Virginia Mary and has five children.Queen Anne gave the title "Duke" to the family in 1707. This title as a non-royal duke means that he does not have to carry out royal duties, leaving him to concentrate on vast responsibility of the running of his estates.
The Duke is correctly referred to as "His Grace", and his role is as a businessman and a landowner.
The immense task of running the estates, fell on the current Duke at the young age of 19 when his father died. To this day, His Grace is very hands on, ensuring that the estate is self sustaining and financially viable for future generations.
