Our Restaurants
The Courtyard Restaurant:
Situated within the Castle you will find the Courtyard Restaurant, where the Duke's Chef, Iain Collingbourne - regarded as the finest private chef in Scotland - prepares light lunches and freshly baked cakes.
The open design gives the restaurant a relaxed and friendly feel, making it ideal for families and groups. The courtyard seating is very popular on a sunny day.
The Restaurant is open throughout the main season from Easter until October.
The Terrace Café:
In the Walled Gardens you will find the Terrace Café, which serves mid morning coffees, lunches and afternoon tea with delicious cakes and pastries.
On a fine summer's day you can sit outside on the terrace, enjoying views of the surrounding gardens.
Favourites of the menu include the chef's famous smoked haddock kedgeree,
game and steak pies, salmon fish cakes and ham or beef on the bone.
You can also stock up on Castle Kitchen Produce and other culinary delights at the Café's deli counter.
Snacks and drinks are also available from the Castle gift shop.
