The array of delicious goodies produced from the Castle Kitchen is worth coming to see: preserves, crumbly fresh shortbread, traybakes of paradise slice, fruit cakes, gingerbread, ready baked pies and quiches, and fresh soups such as carrot and corriander and spinach and watercress.
The new Deli Counter offers a range of tempting fresh produce to take home including honey roasted ham and beef on the bone (sliced or whole joints) mouthwatering kedgeree, game pie and terrines, to name a few delights!
We also offer popular freezer meals, such as venison and dried pear, chicken and asparagus, beef and shallots, cod fillets with orange and tomato sauce, and lasagne, and more...
Gluten Free diets are also catered for.

Roxburghe Heather Fed Lamb reared on Byrecleugh Farm.
Roxburghe Scottish Blackface lamb is bred and reared exclusively on the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghes hill farm of Byrecleugh. Situated in the Lammermuir Hills of the Scottish Borders, Byrecleugh forms part of the Roxburghe Estates and has bee owned by the Dukes of Roxburghe's family since 1500's.
The breed has developed ever since into one that not only thrives in adverse weather conditions and on marginal land but also produces great tasting lamb which has a reputuation for its unrivalled sweet flavour and tenderness.
Roxburghe Scottish Blackface lamb is available now from the Castle Produce Shop (only available from our freezer compartment).
