Our Hogmanay House Parties are well established and certainly well known, blending a mix of relaxation, entertainment, delicious food and fine wines. A home from home experience in luxurious surroundings.

30TH DECEMBER 2008

Arrive in plenty of time to enjoy Afternoon tea served in the Drawing Room with a warm welcome from your hosts.

Our 'Medieval Evening' then kicks off with a themed dinner in the Restaurant and entertainment from our resident jester.

Please dress appropriately! After dinner a medieval style band will entertain you in the Drawing Room.

NEW YEAR'S EVE

A full Scottish breakfast will set you up for the day ahead, commencing with archery on the front lawn, or a stroll around the estate at your leisure.

A light lunch will then be served.

In the afternoon, the medieval theme continues with a falconry display on the back lawn, or simply relax and get a hand drawn portrait done by our in-house caricaturist.

Full afternoon tea will then follow, in front of the fire in the Drawing Room.

To start off the night's festivities, join your hosts for a Champagne reception, followed by a formal 'black tie' Auld Year's Night Gala dinner.

Dancing will then commence in the Conservatory.

Toast in the New Year with Champagne and a breathtaking firework display accompanied by Bob, our house piper.

NEW YEAR'S DAY

Wake up to the sound of the bagpipes, with Bob Lillie playing in and around the grounds.

Enjoy a light continental breakfast in your room, before our spectacular New Year's Day jazz lunch accompanied by the infamous James Birkett Jazz Band.

In the afternoon, try your hand at blindfold landrover driving in the grounds, or mind bending games in the Drawing Room.

A delicious cream tea will round off your afternoon.

Dinner, accompanied by fine wines, will be served - followed by wine tasting in the Library Bar while listening to Ben on the guitar.

2ND JANUARY 2009

To set you up for your journey home, full Scottish breakfast will be served before departure.

Please note that all our activities are subject to change due to circumstances outwith our control.

The above rates are inclusive of accommodation, early morning tea, full Scottish breakfast, lunch, dinner, all activities, entertainment and VAT as detailed above.

Additional nights are available, from £104 per person (sharing), per night, to include accommodation, early morning tea, full Scottish breakfast, table d'hote and VAT.
