2013 Yearlings

One of the most successful horses Floors Stud has bred was Attraction. Her record of ten wins from fifteen starts, including five Group I’s, place her up with the very best horses in recent years, and she is certainly the finest racehorse ever bred in Scotland. Her wins include the 1,000 Guineas, the Irish 1,000 Guineas and the Coronation Stakes. She was Champion Two-Year Old Filly in Europe and Champion Three-Year Old Filly in Ireland. Read her full story here.

Attraction's success has continued as a broodmare. Her first five foals are winners including Cushion and Fountain of Youth showing form at Group level. Mention must also be given to Viva Pataca and his half sister Laughing both Group 1 winners out of Comic. Viva Pataca was sold to Hong Kong where he had phenomenal success winning 18 races in total including the Hong Kong Derby, the QEII Cup and the Hong Kong Gold Cup and earning £6 million in prize money.

The Stud enjoyed staggering success in the sales ring in 2014 selling three colts for an average of £1 million!! Two colts made 750,000 guineas while Comic’s son by Dubawi fetched a record 1.4 million guineas sold to Sheikh Mohammed.
