Bowmont Forest Sawmill produces fencing and building timber for both retail and trade customers.
The sawmill also manufactures rustic garden furniture and garden sheds which are on display. Retail customers are welcome to visit the sawmill.
Timber is sourced from plantations grown on the Estate. Round stobs, straining posts and an extensive range of wire, HT nets, gates and other fencing materials are stocked. Timber is pressure treated on site with Tanalith E.
With the Estate's expansion into renewable energy, we are now able to offer woodchips suitable for biomass boiler installations. This is sold by the tonne and can be delivered to site. For more information, please contact the Forestry Manager.
