Floors Castle Intro

"What you see is an evolving story of a house with impressions left by succeeding generations.."

Floors Castle is not only a Duke's family home, but also the heart of the diverse Roxburghe Estates in a beautiful part of the Scottish Borders. Just over an hour's drive from Edinburgh and Newcastle, visit this stunning Castle and see for yourself the collection of fine art, porcelain, newly restored tapestries, grand rooms and superb views.  We have woodland and riverside walks, formal and informal gardens and lots of lovely places to sit and watch the world go by.

With two cafés, three different shopping experiences, an adventure playground and a wonderfully well stocked deli, there is something here for everyone.  Visitors are welcome to stay for the day and live the life of a Duke.  Our cafes offer a superb range of homemade breads, cakes and meals, all cooked in the Castle kitchens and using the best of Borders and estate produce. There is always a warm welcome for our visitors.
