The Scottish Borders is accessible by train on the East Coast main line between London and Edinburgh which stops at nearby Berwick-Upon-Tweed. Bus links operate from the town.
The Scottish Borders can easily be reached from Edinburgh or Newcastle international airports which are within an hour's drive.
Floors Castle is largely accessible and we welcome visitors with different access requirements, however due to the historic nature of the castle and its grounds disabled access is limited in some areas.- Dedicated disabled parking at the Castle and at the Terrace Café and Plant Centre. The Castle car park is situated in a woodland setting and as such the ground is uneven in places.

- Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of the Castle, Gardens, Café’s and wider estate and water is available on request
With our extensive grounds and fantastic riverside walks, it offers the perfect place to exercise your dogs.
We do welcome dogs but we ask that they are kept under control and on a lead at all times.
The Visitor Car Park is within woodlands so there is plenty of shade should you wish to leave your dog in the car whilst you visit the Castle.
We also offer seating outside at both our Courtyard Cafe and Terrace Café areas and bowls of water can be provided for your dogs.
